Quick Age system changes;
I had this thought about implementing age and level system this way, and someone shared that same idea, so the big changes are:
- Your digimon does not have a maximum level anymore, they will not die by level, instead they will die of old age indeed.
- The age system works like:
Each day that passes, counts as one year in the game, your digimon will be 1 age older each different day you open the game.
Your digimon must evolve by the limit age, if not, they will sadly die. - The age limits are:
Rookie can live up to 6 days, make sure to evolve they to champion by the 5th day.
Champions will die at age 11.
Ultimate, age 16.
Mega, age 22.
Mega+, age 26.
With those changes your digimon lasts much longer, and you don't have to worry as if training and battling with your digimon would bring them close to death , make they as strong as you want. Daily mission now will give Experience as well, what I want with this approach is to make it a fun game for casual players as well, by each day they enter the game and complete the daily mission, the digimon grow as well, without you needing to farm so much to evolve your digimon.
The specific age limit number and the experience you get by completing the daily mission might change in the future.
Please note that everything is still being tested, if you're annoyed by something in the game share with me, you can use those devlogs, or the survey in game to do this, thanks!
Bug fix and added things:
- Fixed the x antibody enemies not being labeled as x antibody and then not droping any x antibody cores.
- I added some more angemon explanations, but I do not intend to do more like this in the near future, as the game is in a changing everyday phase, it will be a pain to remade all explanations when I change things.
- If you're in an adventure or in the energy+ room, if you accidently tap the back home button, a prompt will appear and ask you if you're really sure you want to go back.
- Angemon's button not disappearing when he was already explanning, would lead to a never ending explanation if you clicked the button again.
